This past weekend my husband and I took off on a fun little getaway, just the two of us! It was a much needed relaxing weekend, spent hanging out, cycling the countryside and exploring quaint little shops. Like everyone, we’ve been feeling that the summer is just flying by so this was the perfect opportunity to take a break and truly enjoy all that summer has to offer. Our destination for the weekend was the adorable little town of Leavenworth Washington, located about 4 hours south east of Vancouver. Being Canadian, we love heading into the states because it feels like more of a trip since we’re heading into a different country. We stayed at the most stunning B&B that was custom built by the owners; our room had soaring ceilings and the comfiest bed! Needless to say it was bittersweet to come home at the end of the weekend, but I can’t wait to plan another trip back!

I absolutely love all the pictures and as somebody currently living in Bavaria I can tell you that it really looks like this here. I just showed the pics to my hubby and he asked me if it was in Austria lol!
